A 3 day juice cleanse is key to cleansing your body and upping your nutritional intake. It’s important to understand that juicing is not just about losing weight but also about giving your body the nutrients that it needs to survive throughout the day. By going on a 3 day juice cleanse you will ensure you’re getting a good amount of nutrition, losing weight, and cleansing your body of those nasty toxins. I go on a juice cleanse every few weeks on top of juicing daily and it works wonders for my body. It’s very simple to get into the habit of juice fasting and it can do your body so much good!




How does a 3 day juice cleanse work?

When you decide to go on a 3 day juice cleanse you will be consuming nothing but juice for 3 days. It’s very simple and very easy to do. Problems that you think will happen really don’t exist. For example, hunger is one of the main issues that people worry about. I’ll tell you and so will countless others that hunger isn’t really an issue when you go on a juice fast or a juice cleanse. You will have cravings but the juice will satisfy your hunger. Hunger is how your body tells you that it needs nutrients and you get plenty of nutrients to satisfy that hunger. Cravings on the other hand are when your mind is telling you to eat out of habit or boredom. On a 3 day juice cleanse you will have to be strong and push those cravings aside. After all, it’s only 3 days and you are strong enough to do anything for 3 days, even a juice cleanse.

What if I work while on my 3 day juice cleanse?

Working while on a 3 day juice cleanse is not a problem either. You can make your juices in the morning and take them with you. Simply store your juices in an airtight container and keep them in a refrigerator. If you don’t have access to a refrigerator then put your juices in a bag with an ice pack or two. This will keep them cold enough so they won’t go bad throughout the day.

 

One of the key things people ask while doing a 3 day juice cleanse is how often they should be drinking their juice. It’s a very simple rule. You have a juice whenever you start to feel hungry. It’s all about listening to your body. Don’t starve yourself and don’t over consume your juices. When you listen to your body you will give it nutrients when and only when it asks for them. That way you aren’t wasting any nutrients and you aren’t starving yourself while on your 3 day juice cleanse.

What to expect on a 3 day juice cleanse or juice fast?

The first thing you should expect on your 3 day juice cleanse is to feel great. As long as you can get through any cravings, the cleanse will be so easy and worth it. I have such a great feeling throughout my cleanse that I often continue on past 3 days. You will urinate more frequently on a juice cleanse or any liquid diet because you are consuming only liquids. Juices don’t go through the digestion process but instead get absorbed into your body within 15 minutes of consumption. Think of it as liquid nutrition and energy.

 

So will a 3 day juice cleanse work for me?

A 3 day juice cleanse will work for anybody. If you have concerns please read the questions and comments throughout the site, and most importantly ask your doctor about your concerns. A juice cleanse will work but you must have it made up in your mind that you are and will do it! As I said before, you can do anything for 3 days if you want to.     Thank you so much for introducing me to this juicing concept. I wanted to try the 14 day juice diet, but I do not have a juicer. However, I have a nutribullet. Will the diet still be effective if I use the nutribullet?

  6. OMG. I haven’t done this before, and I am really nervous to try this out. I do hope that I will be able to overcome the hunger that I might experience. But I believe that once you started to only take juicers in a day, you’re body will get used to it and won’t let you consume any other food.

  8. Hi Donnie, I just wanted to thank you for such a great website. I am on day 13 of my juice fast and feel GREAT! I only planned on doing your 3 day, or maybe a week if I could swing it (never juiced before in my life) and now I am considering going 30 days. I honestly don’t think I could have done it without your help. It’s amazing how much a grocery list and a few recipes help with the process. I am a single mother who works full time and you laid everything out so easily I just had no excuses not to try it. I have many of your recipes printed on my kitchen counter and make them every day. My current favorite is Good Morning Green. YUM!Thank you thank you thank you!

  9. I have a question. I’ve been on the juice fast for 6 days now. It’s mostly gone well although I always feel hungry at night. I’ve been drinking around 100oz a day. I think I am drinking plenty of water too? Today was a more challenging day. I had a headache, was hungry all day and am very hungry tonight. Should I be drinking more? Adding food? Or is it common to have some hungry days on the longer fasts?

    I was hoping to go thirty days but with this kind of hunger I don’t think I could make it. Thanks
