Juices as soups
on: October 1, 2013, 07:57

Was wondering with some of the juices posted on the site, are there any that could be heated up? Does this lose any nutritional value?

Don't want to stray from the original plan sticking to the 14 day plan but would like a warm meal from time to time (gets cold here in Australia too).

Regards
Rob

hey rob,

look in the recipe section of the forum. there are some juice recipes for soups including mine for a v8. heating them up is fine and it break up the monotony of having cold things all the time. you are really going to have to experiment with stuff as i have found limited juice soups on the internet. here is a website with a few juices that i am going to try:

hope this helps. cheers!

Awesome Andy, this is much appreciated.

Want to start mixing up some veggies and try them as soups to get through those colder days or night.

Rob

Love your progress mate and look forward to sharing my road to the later days.

Will be trying the following and would love some feedback in what alternatives others have had. I also assume i will be omitting anything like salt, pepper, olive oil and amino acids

Raw Creamy Carrot-Avo

Ingredients :

1 and ½ cup of carrot juice (approx. 7-10 carrots)
1 avocado
1 handful of cilantro or parsley (chopped)
Salt and pepper to taste << remove ??
1 lime (peeled)

Raw Tomato-Basil

Ingredients :

8 tomatoes
1 carrot
1 handful of basil (approx ½ cup- less is fine too)
Salt and pepper to taste
1tsp of dried parsley
1 tbsp of Braggs amino acids
1 tbsp in olive oil

Hopefully these will hit the spot but are they sufficient amounts to maintain what we are trying to achieve for our intake?

Regards
Rob
