Juicing Forum

I'm trying to juice organic apples but the output from the juicer looks just like a thick apple sauce rather than juice. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or is my equipment broken ? does the type of apple matter ?

I've tried 2 different juicing machines, both giving the same result. Using fresh apples from a local organic store. I cut up each apple into 6 to 8 pieces and left the peel on, before feeding them into the juicer.
