Should I strain the "foam"

Should I be straining the frothy foam that gathers at the top of the juice?

Justin, you can if you want to. It's a personal preference to remove it or keep it so if you don't like it, remove it. It won't affect your fast if you keep it though.

Right on, I wasn't sure if there was extra pulp or solids that would be counterproductive to the whole concept.

Never thought I'd do something like this in my entire life. On day 2, so far no problem.

Quick question though- I feel like I'm not getting the most juice out of my kale. Is there a technique you recommend? I went back and took the pulped kale out and put it through a second time and got more juice, so I'm wondering if bunching it, or something else helps?

Congrats on day 2 Justin! Just make sure you are packing or bunching up your kale as tight as possible when running it through. It's okay to run it through a second time if you get more out of it that way.
