Juicing Kale

I am a newbie to juicing. I bought the Breville JE98XL and have been using it for a couple of week, mostly on fruit. I decided to try to use kale and was very disappointed with the results. 99% of the kale went to the pulp catcher and only about 1% went to the juice cup. Am I doing something wrong?

D - I am a total newbie here, but from all of my research the centrifugal juicers (which I think yours is) do not handle the leafy greens very well, but do handle fruits better. The masticating juicers (omega - the j8006 I am currently waiting for UPS to deliver) do well on greens, but less well on softer fruit and harder roots like carrots. The omega still works for those things, but not as well.
