energy on juice feast

This is the second time juicing .I am on day 7 . I remembered last year having not too much energy . I am 260 lbs and drink 96 ounces every day . 40%green 10% celery 20%carrot and 30%fruit juice . I have a job on my feet most of the day . But when i come i have no energy and i want to exercise on a bike ( spinning) . DO other people have alot of energy to exercise while juice feasting?

Hi Hoppy! Congrats on day 7! That's so good! I've noticed that when I use oranges instead of apples I get a rush of energy. If I have a busy day planned I'll include some oranges in my juices. At day 7 you should be past the detox phase and starting to take on a lot of extra energy. Just keep juicing and try mixing up your drinks a bit to see what will give you some more energy.

"Willpower is essential to the accomplishment of anything worthwhile." Keep this in mind while on your fast!

I was 212 lbs before I started juicing, today I am 185 lbs and feel better than I did 10 years ago!

what are your thoughts on carrots? too much sugar i use about 20% in my juice.

hello Hoppy123, well i use to juice and do a 7km walk/Jog...I have never been short of energy after the first 3 days (detox days)...I would advise you to include the following in your juices citrus fruits, Bananas, Sweet potatoes & Spinach....These are fruits & veggies that are high in energy try incorporating them in your juices and u'll be amazed with the energy boost they will give your Body....

sweet potato didnt think you could juice that . I will give that a try today . thanks
