which to keep?
on: February 25, 2015, 17:52

Hi, I'm new to juicing but I've enjoyed it so-far. I have a Breville 98XL and I saw a Green star on ebay for cheap. I bought it. I realized later that the main drive gear was broken. So, I tried to cancel but he had already shipped. The drives seem to cost about $100 dollars so when I saw another green star for $119 I bought it. I'll have to consolidate to get a complete machine and I'll sell what's left (I didn't plan on spending an extra hundred for a working machine). My question is which motor should I keep. They have the same wattage/horsepower but one might be more durable than the other. I figured I would try and ask some more knowledgable people, since I'm new to this.

One is the old GP E1503 the other is the GS 1000.

Also, If anyone knows any other place I might ask as well.

Thank you for you'r input.

Well, nevermind ... he had the shipment sent back to him before it arrived. Just waiting on the refund. I've got the GS1000 with the good gears coming and I ordered the rest of the parts.... just need the refund... and I'll be set.
