Peel or not to peel?
on: May 10, 2013, 03:14

I hear a lot of good nutrients are in the peel of carrots but I feel this is only good for Organic grown. The ones from the supermarket should be peeled due to their pesticides that are soaked in.

Why you guys think? I don't always get the chance to hit a "Whole Food Market" due to my busy schedule. What are your thoughts guys?

I don't peel a fruit or veggie if it's organic or non-organic. A wealth of nutrition is found in the skin so i don't remove it. But if it's not organic, I will scrub them down first just to be safe.

I do always prefer organic over non-organic but just make sure to scrub/clean your produce good before it goes into the juicer and you'll be okay.

I was 212 lbs before I started juicing, today I am 185 lbs and feel better than I did 10 years ago!
