Omega juicer jams up

Hi all - I think I've had my Omega Vrt350 juicer for 8 years and I just replaced the juicing screen. The juice comes out but the pulp gets jammed in the unit. Does anyone know why this does this? I thought replacing the juicing screen would help but it hasn't.
